This blog will cover me making this kevlar Vagabond Poke boat a more comfortable, and seaworthy solo canoe, while still keeping it light enough to hand carry from truck to the water....all critiques/advice is welcome!

Got some freebies!, a kayak LED navigation light, with a beefy suction cup mount and a folding Klepper cart that came with the old Klepper Aerius II "kayak" that my friend Ed gave to me. Ed is a good friend, a retired ship engineer and a Viet Nam veteran.

Nav light next to my cat Remus....lights are a must have here in Florida, especially on the weekends after happy hour.

The nav light's battery holder was severely corroded so i gave it an overnight CLR bath...and it worked! I also got a stern light with a long stick....don't know how ill mount that one.
Ebay score: We-No-Nuh "lite" carbon paddle. 50" long so i might need to cut it down, the handle has a crack on the top of it so it needs a tiny patch of glass+epoxy
